Traffic measurement without advertising profiles

Nowpinion measures which published articles are read and where visits broadly came from. The first-party system is designed to collect less, retain less and explain its limits.

What is counted without analytics cookies

A published article can send one pageview containing the article identity, a server timestamp, a coarse traffic-source category and bounded campaign labels. Full referrer URLs, raw IP addresses, complete user-agent strings, email addresses and browser fingerprints are not stored as analytics data.

What consent adds

If you accept analytics cookies, Nowpinion creates random first-party visitor and 30-minute session identifiers. They let the Studio estimate visits and whether this browser returned. They do not identify a person across devices and are not shared with an advertising network.

Your choice

Rejecting analytics cookies does not restrict the site. Use “Privacy choices” on any page to change or withdraw consent. Withdrawal removes retained analytics events and visits linked to the current browser identifier.

Retention

Raw article events expire after 90 days. The random visitor identifier lasts at most 180 days. Short-lived abuse-prevention counters are kept separately from analytics identity and expire automatically.
